On May 30th Toys R Us voluntarily recalled the “Imaginarium Activity Center” as a potential choking hazard. The concern is over a knob on the toy that can be detached and can pose a choking hazard to small children. According to the press release from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission the toy should be moved out of reach of children and should be returned to Toys R Us for a full refund or store credit.

Obviously it is important to be aware of products that have been recalled especially when it involves the safety of children. Also as noted in the press release, “it is illegal to resell or attempt to resell recalled consumer products.”
