Girl Scout Cookie Recall

From our friends at the Council of Better Business Bureaus comes a tip for all of those Girl Scout Cookie customers out there.

Friday, February 26, 2010

It was announced today the recall of some Girl Scout cookies due to an off taste and smell, according to the Girl Scout cookie maker Little Brownie Bakers

While lemon chalete crèmes cookies are safe to eat, they are not up to quality standards, the company said. The cookies contain oils when broken down, result a strange taste and smell. Fortunately, the recall only affects a small batch of boxed cookies.

If consumers have purchased one of the affected boxes, they are encouraged to call 1-800-962-1718 or contact

Again, the cookies are safe to eat and this is only a quality product recall. Read the full press release at Little Brownie Bakers by clicking here.
