Stainless Steel Slides Recalled After Finger Amputations

Your BBB® warns that 55 stainless steel slides manufactured by Playworld are being recalled after 13 incidents where the slide bed and the sidewall cracked and one child suffered finger amputations.

For this reason, the manufacturer decided to recall all slides sold between November 2000 through October 2016. The price per unit ranges from $1,500 to $4,000 and the products have been sold to schools, kindergartens and parks. The company is contacting everyone who purchased the said slides and advises the public to avoid the product and contact Playworld’s customer service.
