This coming Wednesday is Data Security Day, and we wanted to bring you some information regarding a cyber-security threat that you may have downloaded on your smart phone or tablet. Over the weekend I and another one of our BBB colleagues received an e-mail containing information about apps that turn your smart phone into a flashlight. The following Youtube video goes into detail about the top 10 flashlight apps that may contain malware with advice as to how to detect such malware. You’ll also learn the reasons why we all need to read and understand all terms and conditions and privacy policies before we click on the accept & download button.
