Watch Out For This Fake Mother’s Day Lowe’s Coupon!

Your BBB® has learned that there is a $50-dollar Lowe’s coupon circulating on the internet. This so-called Mother’s Day discount is, in fact, a scam. The way it works is: an ad will show up in your social media feeds, featuring the Lowe’s logo and looking genuine. When you click on it, you will be directed to a fake Lowe’s website to take a survey.

Not only that you won’t receive your $50, but this survey will also steal your personal information. Your BBB would like everyone to know that this is a widespread situation and that Lowe’s will not be honoring this offer since it didn’t come from them. We would like to urge everyone out there to be very skeptical when it comes to online offers and always check the official websites for discounts and coupons.

If you believe you’ve been victimized by this scam, go to bbb.org/scamtracker and report it so that others can be warned!
