29,000 “Wiggle Ball” Toys Recalled by Toys `R` Us

Your BBB® learned that Toys R Us is recalling 29,700 Bruin Infant Wiggle Toys that could break, posing a choking risk for children. This is a round-shaped toy that vibrates, wiggles and plays three different musical tunes and also has bumps for gripping.

In a notice posted last week, the company stated that these gripping bumps could detach increasing the risk of choking for children. So far, Toys R Us mentioned that there were 6 reported cases where minors detached the knobs and tried chewing on them.

If you’ve purchased one of these toys, you can return it for a full refund. The affected items were sold between June 2017 and January 2017, and the model number is 5F6342E, with the company’s name, Toys R Us, printed on them. Check your Wiggle Ball for this information and plan accordingly. For more information you can trust, visit bbb.org/Evansville!
